Kitchen Sink: Before and After

Over this weekend, we put in a new kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal, and new pipes. Why? We weren't updating our kitchen because we wanted to; we needed to. Of course eventually we want to do a whole remodel of our kitchen. But that is for another time down the road.

Entryway Organization

Is your entryway a mess? Is it hard to keep everything in order? Do you need some ideas to clean it up? There are so many possibilities to add organization to your entryway. It can be anywhere from a build-in to a simple bench or small table. Even a simple bookcase will do the job. You can add baskets to keep items in such as hats, gloves, and scarves. Add a decorative touch with accent pillows on the seating area.

Labels for Organization

Label everything. They help make your space look more organized and help you and others keep it organized. Labels can be put on anything throughout your house. Most of the labels that I have are in my kitchen and bathroom.

Storage Space

Do you need an extra place to store things in your living room? Get a storage ottoman. It can be used for storage, as a coffee table, and a place to set your coffee cup. There are many different colors and patterns to choose from.

Christmas Decorations 2013

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love to decorate my house for Christmas. I have decorations from the past few years and I'm slowing growing my supply. I'd have to thank my Mother-in-law for most of the decorations and of course the dollar store. lol. If you saw some of them, you wouldn't think they are from the dollar store.

Organized Home Schedule

For the past month, I have been on a weekly schedule. Before I started, all my tasks fell behind. Now I feel much better that things are getting done. It feels great to have a cleaner house.

Candy Corner

Do you have lots of candy or treats for the kids (or for yourself)? Where is the best place to put it? Do you have it hidden away out of sight?

Why not display it! Create a little candy/treat corner of all your goodies. Use candy jars and decorative tins to make your corner in your kitchen stand out.
