Tricks to Get Kids to Eat Their Vegetables

Do you have problems getting your kids to eat their vegetables? I sure do. My two year old can be picky about what she eats. And if she doesn't feel like eating it, she won't. There is only few number of vegetables that she will eat by themselves and others I have to find other ways for her to eat them.

Below are few tricks for getting your kids to eat their vegetables:

1. Try, try, try again. If your kids didn't like a vegetable the first time they tried it, try again. They might like it better the second time.

2. Share. Kids love to eat what you are eating. For some reason, it tastes better if it is from your plate.

3. Dip. If your kids don't care for the taste of a certain vegetable, dipping it is ranch changes the flavor.

4. Dice/shred. If you need to hide vegetables in food to get your kids to eat them, do it. I do. For example: add diced avocado to macaroni and cheese; add diced vegetables to pizza; or add shredded zucchini to an Italian pasta dish.

Try these tricks on your kids to get them to eat their vegetables. What are other tricks you do to get your kids to eat their vegetables?
